you hit that right on the money I sure hope barrick likes this particular sutton property if they start working it maybe I can get some money back. I thought it looked like good results last year and that the stock would take off and it did for about a half hour. Maybe people can wash brex from there heads and with the y2k thing who knows maybe gold will rally. Seen a show the other night where some people are starting to hoard but not sure if there is enough nuts to drive the price up.

Tan Range Share Price Responds Favourably To Barrick'S Involvement In Tanzania

VANCOUVER, Feb. 18 /CNW/ - Tan Range Exploration Corporation

In response to a request by the Alberta Stock Exchange concerning a near doubling of its share price Tan Range Exploration
Corporation reports that there are no material changes to disclose. Management of Tan Range attributes the sudden rise in both
share price and trading volume to increased investor interest resulting from the 89% premium to market which Barrick Gold
Corporation offered to shareholders of Sutton Resources Ltd. Sutton controls an 8.8 million ounce gold deposit in the Lake
Victoria goldfields of Tanzania and Tan Range controls a 190 square kilometer mineral concession immediately adjacent to it.
This property (Itetemia) also contains the Golden Horseshoe Reef deposit which has been defined by 23 diamond holes and is
at an early stage of exploration.

On February 15, 1999, Tan Range announced that it was commencing a RAB drilling program (reverse air blast) at the Golden
Horseshoe Reef property. The Company is presently compiling the drill logs of RAB holes and expects to make a further
announcement in the near future.

Tan Range is a gold company which holds a large portfolio of exploration licences in the Lake Victoria greenstone region of
Tanzania. This region of Africa has attracted the world's major gold producers with the discovery of several multi-million ounce
deposits. Due to its early involvement in gold exploration in Tanzania, Tan Range now controls some of the region's key
exploration licences.
