Interesting. Marshall, Texas is near my family's home town in northeast Texas. It's a very conservative area, as well as being generally in favor of a "Buy-American" policy. I don't know if that will translate into an advantage for QCOM, but it might. On the other hand, Ericsson has offices in the Dallas area, so potential jurors may know people who work there. It will be a fascinating case to follow.

I'll be rooting for Qualcomm, and not just because I own their stock. Ericsson has a bad reputation in the communications business for shady business practices, and I think their phones are definitely the ugliest on the market.
