First of all the limp noodle scenario is rediculus. Do you really suppose the orator in the oval office we all know would have left whining with his tail between his legs. Are all you clintonites so dependant you have lost the ability to think and imagine. Shees he even had to define what "sex" is and what "is" is for you. And ha, you all stood there going yup, yup, that's what it is, yup.

Oh golly gee, I think Jerry Falwell would have just jumped in to replace him, don't you?

Clinton could have resigned and gone out as a dem martyr. He would be overshadowing elected officials for years with a relatively untainted image. He would have been seen as noble and to principled to allow the office of presidency to be tainted. You know there was a huge movement to make George Washington stay in office for life. He knew what that meant and refused to allow himself to be made more important than the cause we had fought for in the revolution. I know of countries that have acquired democracies in my lifetime that have done exactly that. The current President of Egypt (Husni Mubarak) is a good example. He will never be out of office unless he decides to leave. And he doesn't want to.

Patriotism is a good quality when you don't put it all on the personality of one corrupt leader. Hail clinton.
