So what happens in 3 or 4 years when even a top-of-the-line computer only costs 300 dollars? When everything is integrated down to just a few chips and a hard drive?

Profit margins are going to become as tight in the box makers as they currently are in the chip-only manufacturers. Just ask Samsung how tough it is to make a buck these days!

Although I think Dell is a great company right now, I am worried that in 3-4 years it will have no reason to exist.
