I would appreciate the reference to that article about laptop Klamath.
The upgradability in hardware but like I said I am not an expert in the field so I do not even know what it means.
Intel might hit $200 or it might not -- what I said it will not hit it just because of servers. I agree that for 97 servers are intels game but I strongly disagree about valume production. Research on amd shows that if everything goes well over 2 year period amd might ship upto 35M chips. That is upto $20B in revenue which is 4+ times the current market cap of amd.
BTW recent most positive recomendation from H&Q that everyone refers to nower days is quoting 12M target of $185. Considering volatility of the stock I am surprised that they confirmed their "buy" on it since the price target feels like a "strong sell" (you know, risk adjusted discounting and such).
And I am giving intel benefit of the doubt since acording to some of the intel holders by the year 2000 intel is going to own everything on this planet.
