Joe,

Why I insist on content

1) Declining Voice revenues
2) Providing bandwidth will become a commodity/Free
3) The future will hold multiple platforms providing much the same services. I.E., Cable, Telephony and Wireless the only thing seperating the platforms will be the content they have to deliver.

Without AOL The RBOCs can't make a case for an aggressive rollout of DSL.

Remember the preface of my comment. I said the time to buy/average down in any of the DSL stocks is when RBOCs do something with content. If they did something with content then you could say the RBOCS are concerned about capturing their share of the broadband market. As we speak, they could care less.

Joe I am going to email you a scan of the article in Atlanta Paper. You tell me if Bellsouth is looking at DSL as their future.
