Sonny ---Musea has answered the computer issue in better detail than I could have . I had a similar problem when I had added a new modem to my box two years a go . I ended up resolving it by reloading WINDOWS 95 because it was not recognizing the new modem with the plug and play feature to add new equipment . It did not come up in the safe mode but came up with a normal screen recognizing the new modem from US ROBOTICS ( 28 K ) . My understanding of the safe mode is that it is to protect the operating system when there are corrupt files or something that is incompatible with the operating system . I would try to reload WINDOWS again and possibly reseat the hard drives to ensure that they have a chance to be recognize by the operating system . Thanks for your response to the question about the market . I feel comfortable with the stocks I own even though they are at a high multiple . But they both have high forward looking high P/E's because both will grow in to the ranges ( CSCO and LU ) over the next year . Telecom and broadband will reward us well over the next three years .
