We had a guy at the duck club who had a standard Jeep Cherokee and went everywhere. He spent the big bucks and bought a Land Cruiser, buried that heavy sucker to the doors. Sand or snow and it was unstoppable but in bottomless mud it was too heavy. It had a cast iron frame and an in-line 6 that looked like it belonged in a John Deere. Got 8 mpg pulling a boat, got 8 mpg without the boat too.
