Re: SYCR
My entire strategy on SYCR is based on finding people who have beta-tested the new software. One needs to find out if the stuff works. I'll tell you one thing, you install any product that SCREWS with the Windows 95 registry, as Windrenalin appears to do, and you are asking for trouble. I know, I create Win 95 software for a living. (It's kind of like buying stock in a cigar company hoping to get in and out before the first cancer related lawsuit-- sorry, inside joke.)
If one hears positive news, one willing to take a risk could buy, wait for the reviews to hit the computer mags, and then SELL and move on. The wild card is that you never know how computer magazines will react to a company whose last product was an attempt to pull the wool over their eyes. Do they have a long memory? Don't know.
I purposefully have used the third person. Personally, I invest in companies, not stocks. SYCR got caught with their pants down with SoftRam. I have nothing against hiring an ex-con-- I just wouldn't give him the keys.
