Joey
You have heard correctly
5M this year and upto 30+M next year. I do not know what report you refering to so I can not comment but tomy best understanding no pricing was set on k6 yet. I would love for it to sell chip but I am in minority on the topic and I understand why.
cpq and ibm are using cyrx chips already and acer is using amd. So I guess intel's tactic to scare vendors did not work that well, did it?
I know that k6 is a risky venture but you know nothing ventured nothing gained or in another words risk/reward ratio.
And do not forget about laptops :-))

ps and talking about laptops and Klamath. I have heard the rumors that intel is actually ready to sell new Klamath laptops that comes in two versions
1)is with water-cooling system that can be easily attached to your car
2)undesclosed yet but highly explosive
