If CNBC does a segment and three companies are mentioned, putting a post up in each of the companies mentioned isn't spamming. The readers of those boards are very interested, especially when no one has mentioned the CNBC appearance. Of course readers don't have to read the synopsis, but many appreciate the info and of course they can skip over the post since the content is fairly evident in the header.
