That IBD story on QCOM yesterday was a complete assassination. Here's some lead paragraph sentences: "If Ericsson wins, it could seek a court order requiring QCOM to halt CDMA-related sales" (ps- there's no "if QCOM wins" anywhere in the article). Next para.: Losing to ERICY would be a big blow to QCOM, say analysts." Next para talks of current Q sales. Then.: "But QCOM's picture isn't all rosy." Now... guess who the unnamed analysts might be, quoted 2 paras ago? Well, there's a big graphic SPLAT in the middle of the story; in bold print a headline reads QUIETER QUALCOMM. It stands atop a plunging, awful looking bar graph of declining future sales growth for the Q... and under that in small print? "source: Credit Suisse First Boston" nuff said? no wonder I don't subscribe to that... rag.
