I agree with you about the sex manuals. I can't stand the thought of teaching kids how to have sex. See my post to Nihil, supra, a few minutes ago. My kids are both boys, 13 and 11. They studied sex to some degree in Family Life Education, but this being Virginia, it's about what I learned when I was their age. They learn that sexual intercourse exists, and the names of the organs, but nobody draws them a diagram. The boys and the girls have separate classes.

I don't think homosexuals are entitled to preferential treatment. Having grown up in the deep South prior to integration, I know how badly blacks were treated, and I have mixed feelings about preferential treatment for minorities. But, having seen how successful homosexuals can be, I don't think they need preferential treatment.

Most people don't give a damn as long as the homosexual does not flaunt it in their face.

What I find most offensive are the aggessive Neanderthals who want to insult, threaten, beat, and even kill other men simply because they are homosexual. They justify it by saying that homosexuality is unnatural. These are the same guys who want wives to submit to their husbands. They don't want women to hold professional jobs. I think they have problems with self-esteem, they don't rule the world on the basis of their color and sex, and they want to hurt someone.

White, heterosexual male anger is an interesting phenomenon. I am surprised that you, an artist, buys into it.
