Hi Scott,

No, jrew is not one of Mach6's applets. It's actually Sun's Java
Runtime Environment. We've been having some compatibility problems
with Java (on most systems it works great, on a few nothing ever
works). Version 2.0 is being written right now and will be entirely
in C++.

You may want to try the following to see if it will help any:

1. Right-click on the Mach6 shortcut,
2. Select 'Properties',
3. In the 'Target' field, you probably have something like this:

"C:\Program Files\HASC\Mach 6\JRE\bin\jrew.exe" -cp classes\mach-6.jar com.hasc.mach6.app.MApplication config-readonly=conf\mach.conf app-class=com.hasc.mach6.core.MMachApp

in between the "C:\Program Files ...\jrew.exe" and the '-cp ..',
insert a '-nojit'. So it'll look something like this:

....\jrew.exe" -nojit -cp ...

That turns of Symantec's JIT compiler, which may improve compatibility over performance.
