I believe the bulk of them went to Motorola.

From the 2/11/98 offering Prospectus / Business / Customers (page 38):

Motorola. In September 1997, the Company entered into a five-year agreement with Motorola Semiconductor Product Sector pursuant to which Motorola is required to purchase certain minimum quantities of CyberDisplay components annually through December 31, 2002. .....
------------------------------

I'm going by the assumption that the minimum quantity under this agreement is 100,000 units. Smaller quantities that others might have taken for prototyping or pilot projects would account for any amount over that. The ones written off would also have been additional.

In the report, they said "The Company also did not recognize revenue associated with CyberDisplay shipments made in the fourth quarter and, due to subsequent specification changes, has written down the inventory related to these shipments." I asked their investor contact Sneider about this. He said it was for a camcorder application and that the problem was related to a change by the customer related to the number of 'heads' on the model. I'm not not sure why they had to write them down unless the ones they shipped were already a customized derivation. He was noncommittal when I asked if this customer was the same one that just placed the production order.
