Eric Schmidt has likened it to the SQL market, which he put at $80 billion.

The database giant Oracle has sales of $8 billion. Informix and Sybase do not even get to a billion. Heck, IBM has *total* sales of $80 billion.

I don't know where Schmidt got his $80 billion figure from, but they stretch credulity.

Other estimates range to "virtually infinite"

Do you really believe that?
