The Russian model highlights the problem of government mismanagement or embezzlement of funds, a crime for which citizens are ultimately held financially responsible.

However, that is just the most extreme example. Citizens of many nations are left with the bill for government overspending of every kind. Those segments of any population which are productive always end up footing the bill for those less responsible

At a minimum, individuals should exercise their right to legally establish themselves in alternate jurisdictions so that they may enjoy some protection from such abuses.
