I think the Land Cruiser was a '94. It was a plush thing and cost twice what a Jeep Grand Cherokee was going for. Weighed about as much as a tug boat. Since it was the only one in the area and also had a chrome duck head as a hood ornament, it sure stood out in the tavern parking lot.

I thought Rovers were well made and upscale. I'm surprised you are having trouble. My Jeep Grand tossed it's transmission with 300 miles left on the warranty.ggg
