You mean it was a Toyota Land Yacht. I think the Cruisers they use in places like Africa are different, better made. Did you see the PBS show about retracing the steps of Alexander the Great? It went through some amazingly undeveloped, primitive places, like Afghanistan, Anatolia, the desert around Persepolis. By my count, most of the drivers were driving old Cruisers.

My Land Rover Discovery is well made, and upscale, but it's made in England. Name me one English car that is well made. Rolls-Royce, Bently. Not Austen-Healey, nor Jaguar. Maybe a Ranger Rover is better made, they cost twice as much.
