"Majority of my buys are towards the end of the day. The sells are usually in the morning."

That's the conclusion I'm reaching as well.

On the buying side, watching intra-day it is so, so tempting to want to buy something earlier in the day, when you think a signal 'might' have just been generated, and volume there seems to be picking up.

But I think the saner approach (of course, not for everyone) is to push the buy button toward day's end, when things are settled down, and your 'previously-conceived expectations' are jiving with that stock's price action.
