Well, you don't have to be that drastic. :-)

Very simple approaches, such as only buying when the 9 DMA crosses up thru the 21 DNA and selling when it crosses down thru it, can be very effective at capturing the majority of the up moves, but having you out during these painful down moves. For example, during this last move since early December, this approach would have gotten you in around 32 and out 2 weeks ago at 42. Most people would have traded using these signals, but we were smarter than that because we KNEW there'd be news supporting the secondary, even though we really knew we should have sold when we started breaking down. I'm learning (I guess I'm a slow learner) that if you want to play stocks like WCII, you have to be disciplined and you have to stick to your plan.
