Abraves, Some of the buybacks are mgt. lining their own pockets and, to a lesser extent, those of employees at shareholder expense. Some are actually reducing the total shares outstanding to pump up eps in the short run. Don't let anyone kid you about options. They are mainly for the top dogs. Other employees get much less. And, when the bear market comes, these folks realize they could have made more money washing cars. <g> MB
