Brad, I agree that everyone should give ANYI a try. I downloaded a web acceleration software for $19 off ANYI, which uses Digital River to deliver the software, took only a couple minutes to download. I heard about BANY/ANYI through DRIV, which is also becoming attractive again now that its ~50% off its highs.

I couldn't find the BANY cases on ANYI, so I ordered off BANY's page. CEO Yost called to check on my prder personally, and gave me a discount for being a BANY shareholder:) Now that's what I call service.

I make it a policy to actually use the companies I own. Hell, for $20 or so its certainly worth it. If ANYI had crashed or messed up my order, that would have been a sign for me to sell the stock. I've been happy with BANY, ANYI, and for that matter DRIV.

IPOs and internuts good today, but what really matters is what they are like the DAY that ANYI trades. I don't mind the market going down a little now, so it can be recovering when ANYI begins trading. As a cautionary statement, with TSQD/DRIV the IPO market had three rough weeks leading up to the DRIV IPO, when the IPO fell flat, TSQD lost over hlaf its value in a matter of minutes. The moral of the story is to not be too afraid to take some decent profits when you have the chance, but definitely take some before ANYI begins trading. I know of NO backdoor IPO play that has even done better AFTER the IPO than it did before it. With TSQD, it went to $7 the week before the IPO and has never been that high since. Even if ANYI explodes past $20 the first day, BANY will be discounted some when ANYI begins trading.

This is just some friendly advice for those who plan to sell some BANy for profit in the short term, longs are not affected. When the next runup comes, perhaps when we get our trading date, it would not be a bad move IMO to sell some shares for profit into the strength, so that someone else can pay your profits, and they'll get hit with the "day of trading blues" that is so common with backdoors. BANY may overcorrect on the "day of" and could also become a screaming buy for longs as well. And finally, getting ANYI on the first day may be a good play because we'll probably get better press after we start trading than before. In any case, we still have a couple more weeks to sort out our strategy, my personal favorite is to sell half when you double, and play the "free" shares once you get your money back.
