I spoke to Wayne O'Connor about an hour ago and he said that they couldn't do any drilling because of the ice condition. He did say, however, that they blasted and did a bulk sample ( approximately one thousand pounds ) that has been collected and sent for testing. They are expecting the results in about ten days, at which time they will have a News Release with the results. Not being a geologist, my question to anyone who knows is " what is the better of the two, diamond drilling or bulk sampling? " They have some very impressive pieces that will be going to the PDAC. Mr. O'Connor referred to them as museum pieces.
