I have accounts at both:

I like my discount broker much better than suretrade
because suretrade has very poor phone and e-mail support
so If you need "timely" help.....forget suretrade

My discountbroker.com seems to be a "no frills" online
operation but so far they seem much easier to deal with
this is my current broker.

also both have a "no minimum" amount required to open an
account you can trade as long as you have cleared funds in your account.
