Intermediate Portfolio for Market Gems..I've been asked to form one but I feel that we should focus on one area and not set our sites on having something for everyone. I've seen too many stock selection sites with 5 or more subscription categories that try to be everything for everyone and don't succeed. Next earnings season I intend to spend some time on stocks for post-earnings plays (i.e. TRVL, GVA)that did NOT beat the street or did and still tanked, and to follow up even more closely on stocks further out (1-2 weeks after their earnings announcements).

The daily watch list: spending more time on pattern recognition like range expansion, double bottoms/tops, Head and Shoulders Tops, Cups & Handles etc. We will concentrate on having our chart pop ups with our watch lists as well as our newsletters and linking news stories as well. Since we will be separating our subscriptions from April 1st there will not be an overlapping of the two. However, during earnings season those of you that don't choose the newsletter will have about 10-15% of the watch list based on earnings plays. These however will be more volatile plays more cut out for the 'swing trader' than the short term investor (i.e. CNET, EPAY, PDGY, etc)
