HRAKA- here's what my broker told me re: the CYOE options. If the stock is halted and remains halted throught option expiration, then the option holder - me in this case - still gets to exercise their right to sell the stock at the strike price. (Again, in my case ,this would be $10/share on March 19). Since, if the stock were halted, I could not go to the market to buy shares to deliver, my account would then be effectively short those shares. Once the halt were ended, I could then "cover" by buying shares on the grey market. Hope this answers some questions! Moby.
