I shorted 1000 shares of SIEB at 49 and another 1000 shares at 58. So my average sale is 2,000 shares at 53. I have not covered any of it yet. I run statistical models on historical prices of 8,600 stocks. I can tell you that the odds strongly suggest that the stocks will settle within 1/3 to 1/4 of their high price and then hover around there for 3 months. At which point in time people decide they are tired of holding it and that leads to a final drop. Take your pick of any number of stocks that went up 10 fold in a month and you can see it for yourself. The trade was stressful though, as in the first half hour of my shorting, I was below the water for $22,000. If you follow my posts you'll notice that my methods are very different than most people on the thread.

regards,
Sun Tzu
