First of all, *AV*, I want to make sure you know I have nothing but respect towards your input here.
As far as *what* will happen to the stocks (possibly) if we do this online...to me this is a sidelight. It seems to me that anyone who is even TRYING to manipulate persons or prices, whether it indeed is effective or not, is doing a tremendous disservice to most everyone here. They are misrepresenting facts so us, at least in their own mind, and enabling their own agenda (even if it is only a personal power ego trip). This is despicable to misrepresent financial information for the function of furthering one's own agenda. Like the basketball player who want his own statistics enhanced, even if the team loses.
To me the ONLY thing that will buy in to the schemer's hands is to allow them to continue doing it. Deciding it in a back room allows for that kind of thing that we all despise.
However, trying not to be someone who feels that only MY way is correct, I am totally up for some kind of "investigation" of this issue if we can find a way to do it via email, or a listserv, so that anyone who wants involvement-including the folk(s) who are "accused"- can participate. You seem to be pretty level headed and have a certain amount of logical sense...propose a way for us to do this!
If these are scammers, shysters, schemers, then we WANT to "out" them so that their agenda can be openly displayed for anyone who wants that information.
And if they have done anything illegal, appropriate steps should be taken
**Andrew, my email is published here at SI if you want to get in touch privately, thanks! |
