MB:<<<Gems, Gems, oh, the humanity. <g> Their quarter and year looked totally pitifu and the CEO seems to have given up. In all honesty, if I could get anything for my shares, I'd sell them. But I can't, so I am staying long and wrong with my fingers crossed on this one.>>>

GEMS has been killed by the Asian thing, but there's been a bright spot show up with their recent introduction of their Tsunami family of wireless Ethernet and Fastnet bridges...one hopes.<g> I'm no longer in the stock. (I don't like to hang on to a stock when it moves against me). But I'm looking to buy back in after they report their loss this Q. There appears to be a future for this one, IMHO. According to an analyst at Sterling Research, "The timing is very good for a local wireless loop bypass, and Glenayre Western Multiplex is prepared with rugged, reliable products that extend LAN infrastructure."

Best regards, Merritt
