Uncle Frank, take this advice from a young whippersnapper of a pussycat (but with the advantage of several past lives of experience to learn from -- over 30 years): ignore the momentum crowd (except when they start punching stock prices into the stratosphere as they did with Dell. At that point avoid them like the plague. If you are like me you took the hype as an opportunity to sell calls). These guys will push you off cliffs if you go long on their advice. You are investing in a company, not a lottery. Cheerleading is not what we need. We need sober, thoughtful analysis --both positive and negative.

We do not need people to tell us when the price goes down that that is the result of manipulation. We do not need supernatural voices assuring us of the future. This is not a basketball game with head fakes. We need rational discussion.

I invest in Dell because it is a great company with fundamentals unseen by any other company to my knowledge. With the exception of options activity (and that's a hot button of mine!), its accounting is transparent. No channels exist to distort sales. Goods go direct to purchasers.

This is the best managed business I have ever seen. And it is well positioned in a rapidly growing market. It has become the paradigm for a superbly managed company. That's why I invest in Dell.

TTFN,
CTC
