Has anyone heard what is going on in the TABD (Trans Atlantic Business Dialog) meetings being conducted in Washington, DC. I am hearing report that Qcom plans to announce next week at the GSM conference that it will agree to a let's call it, "Umbrella CDMA 3G Standard" with a dual mode running both chip rates, which will put Ericy on the defensive. The clerk in Marshall indicated that the hearing on Monday is a Markman hearing (see Keith Feral post from last night) but she did not know what else would be heard, if anything. Next week should be very interesting. Qualcomm analyst's meeting starts Tuesday with facilities tour, cocktail party that evening and the meeting on Wednesday.
