Having been a prospector in the Hemlo Mining Camp for the last 15 years, I have learned what signs indicate potential orebodies. One thing that is common to all great orebodies is a large halo of altered rocks surrounding the ore zone(s).

The base metal and gold orebodies of the Hemlo Camp (Geco, Hemlo. Winston Lake)are unlike those of the other great camps. They all have a suite of adjacent rocks that are chemically altered. Usually this alteration consists of potassium enrichment and sodium depletion.

Radiometric Surveys can be useful in determining areas of potassium enrichment. Coupled with the right geologic environment and other survey anomalies, such as geochemical and mag, one can identify very prospective areas to explore prior to ground-truthing.

There are 3 LARGE POTASSIUM ANOMALIES in the Hemlo Camp - one is the Hemlo orebody (shared by the 3 mines), one is Winston Lake's high grade zinc orebody and the other is the Anomaly on MGJ's Steel River Property.

It is not surprising that a first pass exploration program turned up a 25 metre wide altered anomalous zone of copper/zinc mineralization. I expect that future trenching and drilling will prove up an orebody of economic proportion in this area.

The area of potassium enrichment on the property extends 4 kilometers in length and 1 kilometer in width. This indicates a strong plumbing system that in all likelihood has created a large, yet untapped, mineralized zone.

I believe that MGJ will tap into this zone this summer. Should this occur, MGJ stock will rise to levels that have not been seen before by any past shareholder of the Company. Only time will tell.
