Jeff: Despite being the World's 2nd biggest FNTN fan, even I was surprised to see the 20% rise today. FNTN has been at a 1.25 base for around two weeks and got there from the .50s on steady, unremarkable trades - but as high as a 7:1 plus ratio. In other words, quiet accumulation.
The retracement to a dollar was the result of no news for the news- restless crowd coupled with no heavy buying from the quiet accum. crowd coupled with that one awful hitech drubbing day this week.
IMO, somebody(s) know that 1 dollar is cheap and that news is probably imminent. hence accumulation began anew today - and fast.
I suspect there will be hard news this week - perhaps as early as Tuesday. If it happens, I'm hoping the announcement concerns (or includes) sales info. Considering other valuations in the sector, if FNTN reports anything substantial over and above the 1.5 million already announced (say another 1.5mil - or more), they could be worth $7-10 a share right now.
Personally, I believe that we will soon hear something from FNTN and/or a 3rd party concerning joint ventures - I don't want to mention the name of the 3rd party.. but it rhymes with Siemens.
Another upcoming event - FNTN appears to be about a month away from attaining reporting status.
FNTN's stock movement used to be 100% news-driven.
Now, it moves dramatically on no news.
The combination of flat out buying coupled with hard news could be most explosive.

Good luck with the thread. I suspect it will become one of the more popular ones on SI.
Hell - you've already got the TomatoMan -
might as well send home the gorilla.
