Paul, It will be interesting what they doo with the CPU ID. Leave it on, leave it off or totally leave it off the chip. RE:" It will be a failure for AMD as they have to early-announce their K6-III and claim it will beat a Pentium III - as long as they add 2 MegaBytes of L3 cache !"... ---- I only know of one motherboard that can handle 2 megs of L3 (L2) cache. I don't think that's enough do you? Jim
