Tippett, I'm looking at the total market -- desktops, servers, laptops. Look at Gabriel Dubois' posts on the subject before you dismiss what I'm saying. Now the increase in inexpensive machines (those less than $800 including monitors) seems to be restricted to the retail market. And that market is highly seasonal. Your insistence that it is not seasonal doesn't alter the data. Look at the data before you comment further. Dell will pursue the strategy that will earn its shareholders the greatest return. I am content that management will arrive at the correct decision. CTC
