Here's my e-mail to the FCC and Sen. Hutchison...

To whom it may concern:

Do you remember American inventions that didn't create jobs in the US, but went on to provide thousands of jobs overseas? Dr. Demming's quality theory was put to work in Japan and almost put our car industry underground. VCR's invented here, jobs created elsewhere.

Now we have the internet. Will the advantage we have today be surpassed because of regulations to burden people with telecos charges which will discourage internet useage?

It will if you support any charges for internet line use.

The internet needs a free and ungoverned tool in order for it to function and develop its full potential. The current effort by the telephone companies to charge a special internet use fee will slow the growth of this new and important growth medium. The windfall for the telecos would be at the expense of America.

Please, vote against any line charges or use charges or anything that could hurt the growth of the internet.

Thank you
