>>About the market cap: what is the minimum market needed to qualify for the G&K portfolio and why does market cap matter?

Since I hold the <edit> key to the G&K Index, all you have to do is convince me to get your favorite included <g>. I have a fondness for Silverbacks (msft, csco, intc) and mature Kings (dell, aol, etc.), so I've populated the Index with stocks >10B market cap (except for a few that slipped in early). Keep in mind that we can only put 40 companies in a portfolio.

I've been hoping that others who focus on certain sectors would start an Internet Basket portfolio, an E-commerce Basket portfolio, etc., and make them available to the thread. I fully agree that market cap does not define the potential return of an investment.

Anyone who has an interest is encouraged to create a sector G&K portfolio. Any takers? Please?

Frank
