Mike, Chris, et al, miscellaneous stuff....

Ariel is GSM, I am pretty sure. Where is Mr. Merryman? I am sure he can reference the articles I read but did not bother to bookmark.

Informal channel check in San Diego. Sprint must be selling those phones left and right. Many many of my friends have already purchased, ordered or will be buying before the Feb 17 deadline for the San Diego Plan. Better news is all are multiple purchases per family or business. COX has not even advertised their plan at all and somehow word of mouth is enough to keep them super busy. I don't know if Sprint PacBell COX ATI and all the phone companies will make any money with all the competition but QPE better add a production line or two as soon as possible.

As for Maurice, I come to the conclusion that he drank too much sherry New Years Eve and sold all his QCOM shares at 40. He has since suffered a breakdown and has checked himself into the Betty Ford Center. Unfortunately, his legacy remained on this thread. Even Mr. Tech Reeder is now mumbling about politics.
