Neocon, little off in that post. Could you connect these dots? I came independently, and I've seen variations that appear separate, but where is the problem with an income cap? I'm thinking refusing excess income, back to the company or stock, rather than to the Gov't. This thread has kicked 60k around, I'd thought of 150k, but it not firm. Also, I thought of the possibility of "banking" credits, but again, there are many ways to implement the idea. The thrust would be to get the wealth spread wider, and so deeper. Another might be to encourage work for its productive sense. I'm not sure people who earn that much would change much about their jobs, but the family might like to see them. Also, the impact on politics by the very few seems a good idea. So, income cap? |
