A major difference between Ronco and many other internet hopefuls is that this has an existing name and business. Perhaps the Ronco products are not high tech or have sufficient status for some. Those folks need to own Dell perhaps or Intel. Good cocktail party chat. Ronco not as good at cocktail parties. Kind of like Amway, no status. Amway and Ronco just make money. The people who own Amway are among the most wealthy in the world but people don't like the sound of it.
I think that Ronco will truly be bigger than ever with a sound internet presence. Coupled with infomercials they should do very very well. Ronco has a diverse inventory that they can market on the internet, now they can just do one infomercial for one product. Anybody have any idea how profitable those infomercials are? In general the industry is huge, and very profitable. I like Ronco, ONTV, alot better than KTEL. Those who care to make money will do very well with ONTV now and in the future. I am sure that ONTV will reach a peak and then fall back, thats how these stocks work. Is the peak $5, $10, $15, I don't know. Is the fall back
$3, $5, or $10. I am quite willing to add on monday and find out.
ONTV is a far better internet business model than many that I have observed.
