born without legs, where his hips should have been, were his feet, never saw it as an affliction, played high school football, without legs, started every high school game, as a sophmore, junior, and senior, won 27 highs school wrestling matches tied the state record, for 'take downs' in a season, he could "run" the 50 yard dash, in 17 seconds, propelling himself like a tarantula, people "looked up" to him, because of his incredible attitude, and unyielding spirit, adopted at a very young age, he never knew his mom, doctors said he would never amount to anything, and that he would cost his, adopting parents a fortune, the low point, in his life, when his adopting parents, died, in quick succession, he came back with a vengeance, refused to give up, more determined, than ever, to succeed, he played college football, one game, he made seven unassisted tackles, sacked the quarterback once, he refused to consider himself, as handicapped, he works full time, coaches kids, holds down two part time jobs, i am truly inspired by this story, i hope to emulate the man, in the pursuit of my dreams, he says 'there will always be people out there, saying you just can't do it, you don't want to listen to them, you don't want to hear that stuff, people judge us according to the opinion, they have of themselves,' it's much easier to tear down the other guy, who is out their doing it, than to get out there and do it.....
