I think you're confusing existing sales with the "market", which is the potential for 100% of interested buyers. It is possible to temporarily have an "infinite" market for a new product or burgeoning indsutry. Market share is what you're talking about, as in Cisco with $10 bil in sales would have 25% of a $40 billion market.
