John---Hambrecht & Quist have obviously shorted ISP comapanies and related technologies and are now exploiting the self-serving RBOC propaganda campaign of lies and misinformation about the impact of internet access on the existing infrastructure.
The RBOCs have been overcharging the consumers for 75 years and their exorbitant prices are now being revealed with this new technology. The RBOCs are too fat, lazy and lacking in creativity to
compete with the new entreprenurs and have turned to Wahington to craft a deceitful solution to their incompetency.
There will be many more John Gradys--many in the employ of RBOCs and H & Q--materializing on the scene.
Do not be deceived. This is an attempt to stifle communication and protect monopolistic profits.
Everyone should write to both their State and Federal Representatives and to their local newspapers to warn them of the Regional Bells plans.
