addition also adds some stability.

Yes but AOL is a old fashion content provider. They're the only one left. Most the AOL customers I know tell they think its service sucks. I think most people don't switch because the internet is not that important to them right now. As it gets more important, I believe you'll see companies like Earthlink and Mindspring reap the benefits.

One day AOL is going to have to make the jump from content provider to internet company. Can Netscape bail them out?
