The caviat is, here in the bay area, it seems that about 50% of the parking spaces in
malls, movie theatres etc. are too small (the old "compact" variety - not angled, just
straight line). They do this because real estate is so expensive and they are just trying to
pack as many cars in as possible. I have a BMW and I have been dinged a few times - and
I know the real problem is the size of the spaces and crowds in general, as opposed to the
sucky people.

I work at a mall and a strip shopping center. I drive a BMW and I also have a Nissan 300ZX that I use during the summer. I gave up being concerned about dings. There is not enough room between parking spaces anywhere I believe. It just does not seem like it is that big a deal. Maybe I am just not enough of a car buff.
