<<< Even though some core parts of the economy are experiencing inflationary pressure, primarily skilled wages, drops in oil prices and some food stuffs helped keep inflation to only a .1% increase for the period. Better than most economists expected. >>>

I am wondering how long can the low energy price and low commodity price will last? Would we be experiencing higher inflation if those decade low oil/commodity prices swing back? I mean oil price can't go to $0, can it? Now it's $9~$10, as compared to $20+ not too long ago.

Your thoughts will be appreciated.
