As far as i've heard, there has been no mention of any $$. When I e-mailed Carl Ash at the end of Jan/99,He responded back to me stating.....1) That the AMOUNT Bateman will invest,2)the TYPE of investment(whether it will be in the form of a treasury or it will come off the market) and 3)the TIMING of the investment.... All this info has "not" been released yet although it is likely to be released by the end of Feb/99. Any press release that I have seen only stated "significant investment", that was to be made by Bateman once the MOU was finalized. **Press release from Nov/98** The MOU allows for EMR to retain ownership of its intellectual property already developed and to be the sole owner of any intellectual property developed in the course of the commercialization of its technology. Bateman,upon making a "significant equity investment", will become the Preferred Engineering Supplier to the mining industry for EMR's mineral pretreatment technology. Bateman will provide process engineering design for the scale-up and commercialization of EMR's technology. Carl Ash also stated that EMR did not need alot of 'CASH',and it would be preferred if the 'SIGNIFICANT INVESTMENT' came off of the market.We should know soon. Personally I would like to see Bateman's investment.. 1)Be a large investment ie.(5%-10% of the company or more).This would show the financial world that Bateman is very serious and that EMR is going to revolutionize the entire mining and oil industries. 2)have them buy it off the market.ie.If Bateman had to buy 2-4 million shares off the market, the stock price should go up quite alot. good luck Gary.
