OK Craig, we may be making some progress here. I went to the program files and pulled up BrowseMaster and when I clicked on it, the DOS window came up and I did the Control C thing and the box disappeared. But when I make a shortcut icon and click on it I am requested to start the reboot of windows again. I don't know how to access Registry. When I type that in as a file folder, I get 2 Norton Registry hits. If I click on them, I get the following two successive messages. 1) A required .dll file, NUMISC.DLL, was not found. 2) A required .dll file, ASTEXT.DLL, was not found. Is any of this making sense? Oh, one more thing that may help you diagnose this. When I reboot, I am sent to my COMPAQ home center and have to click on my account name to start up the computer again. This never happens when I regularly reboot. Myron

PS--I don't know if I mentioned before that when I click on your URL home page, I cannot access as reported by Len.
