The parents teach their children about life at home. It's nobody else's business.

Ideally this would be the case, as I think pretty much everyone agrees. The schools got into the act by default, because so many parents were teaching arrant nonsense or nothing at all. The school is a poor substitute for good parents, but when parents abdicate their responsibilities, a poor substitute is better than none.

Did you think the status quo - a system that gave tacit approval and even encouragement to gay-bashing - was ideal?

Still waiting for answers on a number of questions....
